GARDEN PEAS

DEBRECEN LIGHT GREEN / LINA / DOLLAR (Debreceni világoszöld)

Ripening category A2, it is an early variety.The plant is 35-45 cm high with medium green, slightly mottled and medium-sized leaves. The stipules are relatively large and intensely mottled. The first flowers appear on the 7-8th node and it brings 1-2 medium-sized flowers per node.
The light green, straight pods have pointed ends and they are 8-10 long. Each pod carries 8-10 light green seeds. The size of the seeds varies between 9-11 mm. The ripe, dry seeds are round seeds, a thousand seeds weight is 240-280 grams.
Usage: garden cultivation.

DEBRECEN DARK GREEN (Debreceni sötétzöld)

It is a semi-early ripening variety, its ripening category is B1. The plant is 45-55 cm high. Its light green leaves are smaller than the leaves of variety Debrecen Light Green. The stipules are moderately mottled. The height of the plant is not uniform. Its flowering is long lasting and the pods appear continuously. It starts to flower 2-3 days later than variety Debrecen Light Green.
The first flowers appear on the 9-10th node and it brings 1-2 flowers per node.
The dark green, curved pods have pointed ends and they are 7-8 cm long.
Each pod carries 7-8 peas, their size is 9-10 mm. The ripe, dry seeds are round seeds, a thousand seeds weight is 200-250 grams.
Usage: garden cultivation.

DEBRECEN EARLY MARROWFAT (Debreceni korai velő)

It is an early ripening variety, ripening category A2. The plant is 40-45 cm high with medium green, slightly mottled leaves. The leaves are narrower and lighter than the leaves of variety Kelvedon. The stipules are medium-sized and densely mottled. It starts to flower 1-2 days earlier than variety Debrecen Light Green. The first flowers appear on the 7-8th node and it brings 1-2 flowers per node. The flowers are relatively large.
The dark green pods are 9-10 cm long and slightly curved with pointed ends. Each pod carries 8-9 dark green seeds and their size varies between 9-11 mm. The ripe, dry seeds are wrinkled peas. A thousand seeds weight is 200-230 grams.
Usage: garden cultivation.

METEOR / PETIT PROVENCAL (Rajnai Törpe)

Ripening category A2, it is an early variety. The plant is 40-45 cm high with medium green, slightly serrated leaves. The stipules are medium-sized and densely mottled. It flowers early after the 54th day, the flowers are white. The first flowers appear on the 7-8th node. The 7-8 cm long pods are dark green with pointed ends. It brings 1-2 pods per node and the number of pods per plant is 5-6. The peas inside the pod are medium/dark green and most of them are 8-9 mm. A thousand green seeds weight is 480-490 grams. The dry seeds are round and smooth, a thousand seeds weight is 200-220 grams. The ripening period of the dry seeds is 86 days.
Susceptible to Fusarium oxysporum f. sp.pisi.

KELVEDON WONDER / GREEN CROSS

Ripening category B1, it is an early variety. The plant is 45-60 cm high with dark green and slightly serrated leaves. The stipules are medium -sized and moderately mottled. It flowers early after the 57th day. The colour of the flowers varies between white and cream. The first flowers appear on the 8-9th node. The 7-8 cm long pods are medium green and they have pointed ends. It brings 1-2 pods per node. Each plant brings 5-6 pods. Inside the pods the peas are medium green, the majority of the green seeds are 8-9 mm big. A thousand green seeds weight is 470-490 grams.

ONWARD

Ripening category C1, it is a late variety. The plant is 50-80 cm high and yellowish green with large and slightly serrated leaves. The stipules are large and slightly mottled. (or not mottled at all) It flowers late after the 65-68th day. The flowers are cream-coloured. The first flowers appear on the 12-13th node. The 9-10 cm long, wide pods are medium green with rounded ends.
It brings 1-2 pods per node. The number of pods per plant is 4-5. The seeds inside the pods are medium green and most of them is 12-14 mm. A thousand green peas weight is 570-590 grams.
The dry seeds are large and irregularly shaped, their surface is wrinkled. A thousand seeds weight is 290-310 grams. The ripening period of dry seeds is between 99-100 days.
Resistant to Fusarium oxysporum f. sp. pisi, breed 1.

LINCOLN / CLIMAX / GREEN FEAST

Ripening category C1, it is a late variety. The plant is 60-70 cm high. The medium-sized leaves are dark green. It flowers at the same time as variety BR-52. The first flowers appear on the 13-14th node by two. Its flowering is a bit long lasting. The slightly curved and dark green pods are 9-10 cm long and they have pointed ends. Each pod carries 8-10 large seeds which are medium green and the majority has 10 mm diameter.
A thousand green peas weight is 520 grams. The dry, ripe seeds are wrinkled and yellowish green. They are wrinkled peas. A thousand dry peas weight is 230 grams. This variety is resistant to Fusarium wilt.

ZSUZSI

Ripening category: semi-late variety. This is a productive wrinkled pea. The plant is 60-70 cm high with bright green foliage. The first flowers appear on the 12-13th node by two. The long pods carry 9-10 seeds. Good for both garden cultivation and industrial use.

RONDO

It's a late ripening, wrinkled pea variety. It has got high, vigorous foliage. The first flowering nodes are the 14-15th. The pods are quite long and they carry 9-10 big seeds. It is a rather productive garden pea.
